Engage BCW has officially rebranded to Engage, formally ending its affiliation with WPP-owned BCW. Going forward, its trading name will no longer carry the “BCW” initials. This comes after BCW merged with Hill & Knowlton, creating a new entity named Burson.
“The recent global merger of WPP-owned BCW and Hill & Knowlton, to create Burson, will mark the end of our formal affiliation with BCW. It presents an exciting opportunity for Engage Communications Ltd. to build upon our strong foundation of success in the Kenyan and Tanzanian markets,” said Desiree Gomes, Managing Partner at Engage.
Engage was established in 2013. Since then, it has consistently delivered excellence in strategic communications across various sectors within and without the country.
The company has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2022 SABRE Global Campaigns award for the #ItsUpToUs COVID-19 Awareness Campaign with the Mastercard Foundation, which was selected as one of the top 40 campaigns in the world.
The company also received the 2023 SABRE Africa Award for Central Africa for the #SavingLivesAndLivelihoods campaign with the Mastercard Foundation.
“ENGAGE boasts a team of experienced and passionate communication professionals with a deep understanding of the two East African markets. As has been demonstrated, this local expertise, combined with our established relationships with key media outlets and industry leaders, allows us to deliver impactful results for our clients… We are fortunate to have a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients. Our team is fully committed to ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the exceptional level of service that our clients expect. We will continue to develop strategic communication interventions that meet their specific needs and objectives,” Desiree added.
