realme, the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, has debuted in Paris Fashion Week. Creating a special custom First-ever Smartphone Chest Strap Bag with a Light Shift design. Which is inspired by the Light Shift Design of the realme 9 Pro Series in partnership with Designer Heliot Emil.
“Realme stands by its core value of daring to leap and not only in technology but also in design and fashion”, Said Mildred Agoya PR, and Marketing Manager Realme Kenya.
The bag is designed for the realme 9 Pro Series, the newest model in the number series phones. The realme 9 Pro+ offers the first Sony IMX766 OIS camera in the segment, dual stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos, mind-blowing Light Shift design, Ultra Smooth Display with high refresh rate, and the Dimensity™ 920 5G processor.
The smartphone bag finally made its debut as part of HELIOT EMIL’s Solitary Uniform autumn/winter 2022 runway show in the city of lights as the main event at Paris Fashion Week’s main calendar.
Heliot Emil a Copenhagen-based top fashion brand, is dedicated to innovative design and technical processes, combining form and function in all their products, which aligns perfectly with the realme design studio’s design philosophy.
This time, Heliot Emil and realme design studio collaborated to create a customized chest strap bag for all tech and fashion enthusiasts, inspired by the “Light Shift Design” of the realme 9 Pro Series. Heliot Emil presented the entire collaboration as well as the bag on the official runway of Paris Fashion Week 2022, based on co-creation.
The realme 9 PRO SERIES & CO-created smartphone bag has lens protection, easy street snap action, and allows users to easily pull out their phone. It also shows the light shift design, which means that when it is exposed to sunlight or UV light, the back of the phone will change color from blue to red, similar to how the color of the sunrise changes.
Not only that, but this type of “starlight” is becoming a popular trend among a variety of brands. Coca-Cola Starlight, for example, debuted in February with the same twinkly start adoration. Likewise, Louis Vuitton’s Starlight accessories collection, Maison Margiela, and Island Stone have all released similar effect designs.
This isn’t realme’s first foray into the world of design. realme established its Design Studio in 2020; it is an independent realme design team that specializes in realme product industrial and visual design. realme Design Studio, the industry’s first mobile design studio, has previously collaborated with Eddie Opara, Chief Designer of Pentagram, Naoto Fukasawa, Japanese Master of Contemporary Industrial Designs, and Jose Levy, Cooperated Designer of Hermès, who have contributed their expertise to realme by designing trendsetting new products in collaboration with the brand.
This time, the founders of HELIOT EMIL have been appointed as the Guest Designer of realme Design Studio, with the goal of making waves in the design world by bringing together technology and fashion under one roof. The light shift design of the realme 9 PRO SERIES will set the trend for smartphone design.
As a brand founded for the needs of young people, realme is not only providing trendsetting products but also cultivating its own trendsetting culture. Aside from bringing products with high performance and trendy design, realme has also contributed to original music, fashion design, and the cutting edge of new industrial design. By incorporating youth culture into the technology industry, realme is building its own image and sharing the same value with young consumers – dares to leap forward and go beyond itself.
Just recently, realme launched the realme 9i in the Kenyan market and its uptake is unexpected with realme phone enthusiasts getting the next level smartphone witnessing the fact that realme delivers as it promises. The phone is available in all offline and online shops across the country.
