Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the President of Uganda. The man, together with his family, has ruled Uganda for more than 38 years and is still going strong. For him and his kids, he has never known any other home other than the Statehouse in Kampala and he has never paid for anything in his life.
Many Ugandans have given from their push to want Yoweri Museveni to leave power. Deep down, they know that the man is going nowhere. Even if nature took its course and reunited him with his ancestors, his equally arrogant son is the next in line to take over the leadership of the country.
One thing that Museveni has done, just like other dictators, is put his family members in senior and powerful government positions, including the army, making it difficult for a revolt to take place. He can successfully run Uganda from his toilet or the kitchen, and there is nothing that Ugandans will do.
