It’s been 12 weeks of drama, shade, fashion, friendship breakups and makeups, and well-earned moments of popping the bubbly on The Real Housewives of Nairobi. The finale airs today, after which all 12 episodes will be available to binge on Showmax.
This final episode marks the end of Susan’s lavish 40th birthday celebration in Malindi and sees the housewives develop deeper connections with each other.
Starting with a bang, The Real Housewives of Nairobi broke streaming records for the most first-day views for any title on Showmax in Kenya when it premiered in February 2023 and has continued to top Showmax charts and Twitter trends with every weekly episodic release.
All the six Nairobi housewives have shown us their different sides, delivering on what they had promised at the beginning of the season, from Minne Kariuki living up to her Queen of Shade nickname to Susan Kaittany embracing her poshness not only with her avant-garde hairstyles and fashion but also in the way she makes an entrance, from Sonal Maherali showing us that being soft-spoken isn’t a weakness to Vera Sidika proving that even pregnancy can’t slow her down to Lisa Christoffersen showcasing her love for adventure to Dr. Catherine Masitsa being all about family, money and business, and less about the drama.
The reality series has had some explosive moments throughout the season, like Vera Sidika’s altercation with Dr. Maria, who exited the show in episode 3. Some moments have been emotional, like Minne revealing that she had a miscarriage and getting the much-needed support from her mother. We’ve experienced vulnerable moments with Sonal in her mental health journey. With Vera, we have seen the beautiful moments of her family life, including her spectacular gender reveal party.
Ahead of the Reunion, you can binge-watch all 12 episodes of The Real Housewives of Nairobi on Showmax, as well as The Real Housewives of Durban Reunion: Part 1 and all 12 episodes of The Real Housewives of Abuja, which aired its final episode last Friday.
The Real Housewives of Nairobi is produced by Eugene Mbugua’s D&R Studios and is part of The Real Housewives franchise licensed as a format by NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
